Did not have “finding out about beloved country music artist Jason Isbell’s divorce from longtime collaborator Amanda Shires from FeedMe” on my bingo card for today
I would love to hype up her work however I can (not only is she a great designer, she is also A Very Kind Person, which goes a long way!!) — http://www.rebeccasylvers.com/
For paywalled media sites that offer it, would you consider using gift links (as NextDraft does)? I can never read the WSJ and FT articles that you link to unless I spend ten minutes casing the web in the hopes of finding the article in front of a paywall.
Hi! Feed Me isn’t a paywall avoidance mechanism, sometimes I get gift links from sites and I use them when I can. But it might be hard to always use them/I still think readers should pay for those sites when they can. What I can do is try to summarize the stories better when appropriate, but I like that Feed Me drives traffic to some of the best writers on the internet… and ideally gets them paid.
Anna Weyant doing a 'The Simple Life' show where Jason takes her to Lauderdale County and explains to her what all of his songs mean and she has to eat chitlins. The money prints itself.

Curious who did that Prix Fixe branding...
Elaborate
Curious just insofar as my long running complaint that no one ever publicizes their creative team on launch!
it’s all thanks to the incredibly talented Rebecca Sylvers!
The elaboration is simply that I enjoy it! Also, lol—Rebecca is my former coworker and friend, now I have to text her about it!!!!
Can we link her site?

Same Fabian... same
Great get by the NYT re: Jacob. His stuff in the WSJ was great, but it was painful to read the asshole brigade in the comment section.
The WSJ comment section has gone full NY Post comment section. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
have high hopes for Gen Alpha❤️ Crazy to think that the eldest of their generational cohort turn 15 next year!
Round tables are so good!
Especially when they’re edited like this. I bet it reads so well in their print magazine

Love this! Can we talk about how good Cat Marnell´s memoir is? HTMYL is a masterpiece.
