Good morning everyone. I started watching Hijacked on Apple TV last night and it’s the best show I’ve ever watched in my life. And by that, I mean since Mad Men, Girls, The Sopranos, and RHONY S1-3.
It’s about a plane that gets Hijacked, and how the beautiful Idris Elba navigates the situation. Scared of flights? Same, but now even more scared 😈

There’s a portfolio shuffle at Anheuser-Busch. They sold eight of their brands including Shock Top, Hi Ball, and Blue Point to the cannabis company Tilray Brands for an undisclosed amount. So now, Tilray, a cannabis company that already owns SweetWater, Green Flash, Alpine, and Montauk, bought most of the parts of the erstwhile Craft Brew Alliance, sans Kona. The Widmer Brothers facility in Portland was a part of the deal and will go to Tilray. Considering 2022 sales show spirits now claim a record-breaking 42.1% of revenue in the alcohol market, compared to beer's shrinking 41.9% (and wine's stagnant 16%), the most valuable part of this deal might have been the facilities.
Yes, we all read that Campbells bought Rao’s parent brand Sovos (Rao’s represents 69% of their sales) for $2.7 billion. Rao’s grew organic net sales by 34.9%5 compared to the prior year — I’d pay up for that too. Most of the conversation I see on Twitter is around the concern that the recipe will change.
