Hi.
Good afternoon everyone. Some housekeeping:
I might extend my Paris trip so we can do like… a French Feed Me meetup. It could be amazing.
A few of your asked for my Paris recs, to which I say, just read
‘s recent roundup. If you must have additional suggestions: massage at Suisen, get a sandwich at Le Petit Vendôme and bring it to the garden of the Rodin museum, Hammam and Moroccan sweets at Hammam Pacha, makeout with someone at Chez Jeannette, and take the train to Le Doyenne for lunch. And if you want to ball out like I once did several summers ago while having a mental breakdown, stay a night at Le Meurice and order a burger from service.I got this email from a reader who works at a very big tech company, and I’d like your thoughts in the comments:
NEWS:
It’s a big week for Lauren Sánchez in New York media. FIRST, Keith McNally posted this on Instagram which called Jeff Bezos’s wife “ABSOLUTELY REVOLTING”. I’m pro-Keith, but this was a very bad move on his part (I’m also pro-Lauren). Dozens of blue checkmarks jumped in the comments defending Sánchez, which sort of surprised me. THEN, The Daily Beast tweeted yesterday that they’re seeking a full-time reporter to cover Sánchez.
The UK is attempting a smoking ban for anyone born after 2009. Good luck with that, babe!
