Good morning everyone. Hope you had a nice weekend, it was nice to meet some of you at the Substack roast reading on Friday night. The direction from the event planners was to murder a topic by words. I read about how I don’t like freshwater fish (you can read it here).
Afterwards I went to Eel Bar to see if Matthew Schneier’s recent review for New York Magazine held up — it did. If you need a hot date, like I very much did on Friday night, you can sit at the bar at The Ten Bells across the street while you wait for your Eel Bar table.
On Saturday I got a stack of pancakes with
and our friend Yasmine at The Commerce Inn. Kendall Jenner was sitting in the corner across from us, so I guess that was her last meal before walking in the Schiaparelli show yesterday.📱 Reminder that the Feed Me Tip Hotline is open for (anonymous) texts and voicemails: (646) 494-3916 📱
The name on every New York bodega owner's lips: David.
On Saturday night, I got a text that said “I have scoop if you want to call me.” Whenever it has to be done over the phone, you know it’s good. David is positioning itself as the disciplined answer to a culture obsessed with weight loss — 150 calories, 28g of protein, 0g of sugar. People who have tried them either love or hate them. Here’s what my friend said:
