worked on a stunning story in New York Magazine this week. She tagged along with 25 tweens (aspiring beauty YouTubers, Sanrio Stans, and Sephora samplers) in a story that is so dreamy. Only New York Magazine would execute the story about tweens and Sephora in this way — the photographer treated each of the subjects with such respect and care. It’s really beautiful!
Jones, a nicotine replacement therapy brand, just secured $1.2mm in pre-seed funding. The round was led by Good Friends, an early-stage fund from the founders of Warby Parker, Harry’s and All-Birds. Jones is starting with nicotine mints in two strengths, two milligrams and four milligrams. The mints, which are an over-the-counter medication and available on subscription, come in 81-count packs encased in a chic tin and priced at $62. There’s also a Jones app, which is a key part of the brand. App users enter information pertaining to their personal quitting journeys such as how much they vape or smoke in a day and receive targeted support. They can create a “pod” group of fellow users out of the wider community where communication isn’t seen publicly. Jones joins recent startups like Blip and Lucy looking to energize the staid NRT space.
