There’s some showerhead competition out there.Yesterday, Canopy launched a filtered showerhead “that reduces dissolved minerals, added chlorine, and other contaminants in your household water.” The main competition is Jolie, which launched in December, 2021. The benefit Canopy has to being late to the category is an existing fanbase for their humidifiers and essential oils (which can also be used by their showerhead). Something that stood out to me yesterday was that Jolie’s CEO posted on LinkedIn, seemingly in response to Canopy’s launch. I find posts like this and the commentary surrounding them (never forget Graza-gate) pretty annoying, but ignore what I think and read what my followers thought.
